#YuleLove Smoking Gun’s Christmas charity initiative for Wood Street Mission

CHRISTMAS MISSION FOR WOOD STREET

We’re delighted to announce the  novel approach we’ve taken to this year’s Christmas card.
Proving our ingenius credentials again, we’ve created a Christmas card with a handy pop out picture frame, encouraging recipients to use it to take pictures of their favourite festive things. For each person that shares their picture tagged with #YuleLove, the agency is donating £1 to Wood Street Mission’s Christmas Project.

#YuleLove

The Wood Street Christmas Mission aims to provide Christmas presents for local families living in poverty, to provide to their children on Christmas Day, along with a food hamper with a few little luxuries to help families over the festive period.
Rick Guttridge, managing director at Smoking Gun PR commented: “Giving back has been part of the agency’s DNA since day one. We donate a minimum of 1% profit to good causes and have been supporting the Starlight Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital thus far.
Since moving offices earlier this year, we became aware of the great work of Wood Street Mission which is just around the corner.  It’s a fantastic cause and we’ve helped them out during the year where we can with surplus product and samples from our work, so Christmas seemed like the perfect time to give them an extra helping hand.  We hope everyone gets behind the campaign and helps us to support this fantastic cause.  We can’t wait to see what photos people share.???
Anyone can join the campaign by downloading their own picture frame or finding detailed instructions here.
