Virgin Media competition Pitch to Rich closed on 6th May and 50 projects with the most votes in each category (Start-up, New Things, Grow) gained the opportunity to be assessed, with the top 30 later to be chosen as the lucky semi-finalists. It seemed that the chance to fight for the opportunity to present to Sir Richard Branson was over for hundreds of others…
BUT then the unexpected happened. Virgin announced they would reopen voting for three days to compensate for the votes lost due to the technical website interruptions!
Maybe this means they want to give everyone a fair chance or they’re just not happy with the top ranking pitches and are keen to see what else is out there?!
Who cares, we see this as a chance to get back to voting to push the northern startup Tipit up the rankings!
