ITV has made the decision to switch off all seven of its channels for one hour next Saturday morning, 27th August (Bank Holiday no less), as part of the I Am Team GB campaign, which is all about encouraging people to get out and exercise. This comes just after widespread criticism of the Government’s recently outlined plans to reduce childhood obesity levels…

Gawker Media is to close its flagship website, Gawker, following a legal battle with Hulk Hogan.

The NHS Blood and Transplant Missing Type marketing campaign- raising awareness about the need for more donors- is now going global, with 25 blood services in 21 countries set to use the advertising, covering 1billion people.

The Guardian has a new ‘interactive podcast’, called RioRun.
