It might be the most abysmal day for weather Manchester has seen in nearly two months (please, come back sunshine, we know not what we did) but nevertheless staff here on Bridge Street everyone is feeling in a particularly sunny disposition following the news that we’re in the running for yet more prized titles.
Following two successful years at the North West CIPR PRide Awards in 2012 and 2013- which saw us walk away with no less than three gold accolades and five silvers- including top marks for Best Consumer Relations, Not-For-Profit and Use of Planning, Research, Measurement and Evaluation, it gives us great pleasure to announce we’ll be back at the ceremony this time round, and hopefully walking away in need of an even bigger trophy cabinet.
For 2014’s shortlist we have been nominated in no less than five categories; Best Consumer Relations Campaign (Silentnight), Best Digital Corporate Campaign (Silentnight), Best Event (Virgin Holidays Manchester Tunnel To Barbados) and Best Photography (Virgin Holidays Manchester Tunnel To Barbados). A real honour to say the least, it should go without saying we’re giddy with excitement ahead of the event, which is scheduled for 19th November at The Midland in Manchester. Not that we want to wish the summer away, of course.
Our MD, Rick Guttridge, had this to say: “Awards shortlists and then hopefully bringing home some gongs are an important validation of the hard work the teams puts in throughout the year. The spread of shortlists across some fine agencies is testament to the strength of the sector regionally and we’re looking forward to going head to head with them come November.”
Fingers crossed then!
