With the triggering of Article 50 this week it’s easy to feel a little uneasy about what the future has in store. Not so here on Bridge Street, though, with an excellent month of new clients, new starters, and knowledge sharing pointing to a very positive immediate future and beyond.
First things first, then, let’s get on with the introductions. In recent weeks we have managed to secure another high profile client in the form of transport giant Arriva North West. We’ll be keeping the brand on track as PR partner, dealing with a range of media and comms tasks, working hard to ensure everything from reputation to engagement is second to none.

In other fresh faced news, Jessica Higgins-Braddock has just joined our esteemed team as Social Media Community Manager, bringing with her exceptional skills gleaned from time working channels at a global comms agency, not to mention representing Manchester’s technology and digital haven, The Sharp Project.
More than happy to have her on board, it goes without saying our client’s online communities are in safer hands than ever.
Our in-house Facebook and Twitter feeds haven’t been quiet, either, with some great engagement gleaned from some fantastic content- an ongoing lesson in using online platforms to boost organic marketing reach. Here are a few of the best from March, to give an idea as to what we mean…
…and don’t forget to follow us here – Facebook, Twitter – for more of the same going forward
We’re always looking to better the services we offer, despite the fact we regularly rank not just amongst the most respected agencies in the north, but the UK. Hence ongoing award wins and nominations, although the latest to add to our pile comes in a much more localised form- the City of Manchester Business Awards 2017 have once again put us in the running for PR & Marketing Agency of the Year. If you think we deserve to walk away victorious click here to cast a vote.
As usual, our staff have also been keen to forge relationships both with non-client brands and the professional community overall. Rick Guttridge spent time offering insider tips and advice to journalism students at the University of Huddersfield, making it clear that press and public relations can’t exist without each other, and shedding some light on the media from the other side of the coin.
Meanwhile, as we mentioned in this piece on Travel PR catastrophes and crisis management examples, in May we’ll be sponsoring ABTA’s Crisis Management Communications workshop here in Manchester, which is fitting considering our record of achievement in this sector. All good news, then, before anyone mentions the gorgeous blue skies of late. So let’s finish with a simple toast- here’s to spring, and a similarly successful April.
