With the month done, and another about to begin, we can all breathe a sigh of relief; give it another few weeks and the first signs of spring will be evident. Not that we’ve been dragging our step since January, with a seasonal downpour of award nominations, involvement in a record-breaking industry event, team away sessions and our annual conference. Plenty to discuss, then.
First up, we are over the moon to have received shortlisting in no less than ten categories at the PR Moment Awards. This unprecedented number of nods from our peers shows how effective our campaigns are for clients, matching innovative ideas, ingenious thinking, and impassioned, meaningful work to ensure no stone is left unturned in the bid to make noise for brands we represent.
As per usual, we’d like to congratulate all the other agencies in the running, but naturally our team would prefer to come out on top. A full run down of nominees can be found here, but to focus on ourselves we’re up for Social Media Campaign of the Year, Stunt of the Year, Best Use of Research, Consumer PR Campaign of the Year, Best Use of Content, Best B2B Campaign of the Year, Not For Profit Campaign of the Year, Media Relations Campaign of the Year, Consumer PR Agency of the Year, and Integrated Agency of the Year. All of which showcases the breadth of quality services the team consistently deliver.
February has also seen us involved in Prolific North Live, sponsoring the Marketing Suite, and it’s safe to say things went swimmingly (and that’s not a reference to all the rain Manchester has seen recently). With record numbers of attendees being offered invaluable insights, opinions, and lessons delivered by a host of true experts and leading sector thinkers, all those that made it down to the sessions came away with new expertise and great additions to their contacts book.
A fantastic showcase of the strength and vitality of the northern marcomms scene, we were proud at the results. And that’s not the only reason for an out of office reply. Our team has just completed an excellent away session (pictured below), and the annual Smoking Gun PR conference highlighted how much we have achieved in the last 12 months, whilst also confirming there is still plenty to be done. Hence realigning our organisation based on core principles and values in order to better plan for the coming calendar- we understand that sustained success never happens by accident. Point made, probably best we get back to the many tasks at hand, so see you in another four weeks for more updates from our hallowed HQ.
