After being involved in last year’s AMEC Measurement Month by speaking at a CIPR event, this year our MD, Rick Guttridge, decided it was time the agency did even more to help educate clients and other marcomms professionals about the modern methods in PR evaluation.

AMEC (Association of Measurement and Evaluation Companies), should you not have heard of it yet, is the global body which promotes best practice in the measurement and evaluation of public relations work. It launched the Barcelona Principles in 2010 as a first step in helping standardise measurement and this year made a massive leap forwards with the launch of its Integrated Evaluation Framework at its annual conference – where Smoking Gun was in attendance.
