Samsung reduced production volume on its Note 7 smartphone following reports of devices catching fire, now it has decided to cease production altogether due to the risk of fire. We don’t even want to think about how much money has been lost in R&D and marketing here, and it’s also pretty damaging in terms of reputation. Still, at least someone thought to mod Grand Theft Auto and film themselves walking around the game blowing stuff up with the now-shelved mobiles.
