Given it was International Women’s Day this week we were expecting some great stunts, but this one is particularly powerful. On Wednesday the infamous Wall Street Bull in New York City found itself stared down by a new bronze statue of a defiant girl every bit its equal. Fund Manager State Street erected the statue to highlight the lack of female representation in corporate America.

Jaguar Land Rover ran into trouble this week after one of its advertorials was seen to promote ‘unsafe driving’ by the Advertising Standards Agency. We have to agree- the idea of having an infotainment system on the dash which can show you calendars and other apps, whilst behind the wheel, doesn’t exactly sound like a great step towards reducing the number of on-the-road-distractions.
