Facebook has announced it will start trialling a new subscription system for Instant Articles, including bigger logos of the content’s original publisher, and take 0% of the money made as and when users decide to subscribe to a feed. This could, in effect, reverse some of the ongoing negative sentiment from the press towards the social network, which has been criticised for taking too much cash from work produced by media titles.

Whoever devised a ‘marketing campaign’ for Calgary Airport involving the removal of disabled parking spaces, replacing these with ‘Lexus-only’ spots, clearly wasn’t thinking about the fallout. Thankfully the situation has now been rectified, but it makes you wonder.
