Well there goes another calendar page, then- disappearing in a rush of client work, rally cars, industry talks, and Christmas come early. Fast times at Bridge Street high, as per usual.
First up, this month we’ll be defending our reigning title as the Manchester Publicity Association’s Agency of the Year. We came out on top in 2016 and we aim to do the same again, what with a wider skillset thanks to new staff arrivals, and plenty of outstanding campaigns run over the last 12 months.
The team have been busy aside from preparing for ceremonies and garnering the usual high visibility exposure for brands, too. In the last couple of weeks we hit a rally car championship with our friends at Prestone, clocking up plenty of conversation-starting miles in the process, enjoyed the PRCA leader’s lunch and conference, with several members of the team currently in Account Manager training through the organisation.

We also sent representatives over to #BlogOnXmas. The annual blogger conference was held at Hotel Football, and can only be described as a resounding success, with 200 scribes and online publishers in attendance. Plenty of new faces were met, proving how vibrant the sector is, with various discussions held regarding future collaborations between our clients and their outlets. Oh, and we wore Santa hats and danced with elves on stilts, obviously. As if all that weren’t enough, we were present for the measurement and evaluation round table held by Cision at The Lowry in Salford, offering our expertise on this crucial subject for companies and their media teams. Plenty to make your head spin, this is before we even come to mention hanging out at the Coors Light Ice Cave in Albert Square, our MD Rick Guttridge giving an inspired talk on managing online reputation at a recent Marketing Cheshire Visitor Economy conference, and taking his annual seat on the evaluation panel at the PR Moment Analytics conference.

And finally,in a contest more hotly contested than a Bake Off technical challenge, we announced need the end of our office sunflower competition. The winner was Emma, who, proving that a singing voice really does help the garden grow, managed to cultivate the brightest of bright flowers, not that we needed any more optimism given our sunny dispositions. Onwards and upwards, see you next month.
