Smoking Gun PR was called in to work on a consumer PR campaign for the relaunch of Flying Flowers, driving national media coverage and backlinks to the company website at a time when the news cycle was focused on a US election and second national UK lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The #SendASmile for less concept was created, offering Britons the chance to send a £1 bouquet to a loved on at a time when social contact was incredibly restricted.
The campaign was digitally activated and supported by experts and influencers, including Dr Amir Khan and Karen Haller.
National consumer media were targeted with advisory stories on how to choose what to send friends and family based on colour.
Trade press were approached to amplify the business relaunch.
The campaign generated 23 print and digital media hits, with 9 national outlets helping deliver a reach of 235million.
