Content Manager

Thanks to some sensational new client wins and an ambitious growth period ahead, we have an exciting opportunity for a Content Manager to join our ambitious and fast-paced Manchester team.

As a Content Manager, you will play a lead role in developing and producing engaging content across various platforms for some of the UK’s most well known brands.

More about the role 

The role is full-time and on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for – 

  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand social first content requirements and campaign objectives.
  • Managing projects from concept to completion, including shooting, editing, and posting content for various brands.
  • Developing creative concepts and storylines, and crafting content strategies to effectively convey the client’s brand message.
  • Creating high-quality, engaging, and shareable content using innovative and appropriate methods.
  • Editing, proofreading, and enhancing content to maintain consistency in tone, style, and brand guidelines, while adapting content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Collaborating with other teams to develop integrated campaigns that meet client objectives.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging digital platforms to ensure content remains fresh, innovative, and relevant.
  • Reacting to trends and creating viral, engaging content that captures audience attention.
  • Optimising content for search engines and using analytics tools to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and exceptional service.
  • Supporting senior team members with proposal development and campaign ideation.
  • Attending events, stunts, and client meetings to represent the company and further develop client relationships.

Essential experience/ requirements 

  • Approx. 3 years of experience delivering quality, engaging content for high-profile brand social media accounts, ideally in an agency or similar creative environment.
  • Proficiency in editing software, including but not limited to: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, CapCut, Adobe.
  • Ability to use Canva for quick and effective design work.
  • Experience storyboarding visual concepts aligned with video briefs.
  • Proven experience planning product shoots, including arranging and setting up filming equipment, assisting with creative direction, and managing client relations on set.
  • Highly creative with a passion for storytelling and producing world-class content.
  • Expertise in creating social-first content, including graphics and motion graphics.
  • Strong knowledge of various social media platforms, their functionalities, ratios, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and a deep understanding of different formats across each.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and team members.
  • Adaptability and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment.
  • Familiarity with current digital trends across social media and influencer marketing.

Company package/ perks 

  • Salary Banding: £25,000 – £35,000. – Depending on experience
