…Nevertheless, when we have great in-house news to share we’re partial to sharing it- not so much as a means to blow our own trumpets (although in this case we most definitely are), but simply to spread the word about how our hard work is being rewarded and recognised by the industry. Before you do, though, it’s our great pleasure and pride to announce we’ll be adding yet more trophies to that digital cabinet (webpage) following a hugely successful night for our team at the Hilton on Deansgate here in Manchester yesterday. The PRMoment Awards took place at the address in question, formerly the Golden Hedgehogs (which we’ve done rather well at in the past), and saw the finest agencies from across the North of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland descend on our hometown.
Quite an event, we were delighted to walk away (champagne glasses thoroughly emptied) with two of the most coveted titles of the evening. Firstly, efforts on the part of all our staff ensured we won the fiercely contested Best Consumer PR Agency gong, an accolade we believe reflects both the innovation, ingenuity and depth currently present in our overall team.
On top of that, we were over the moon to receive yet another nod from the industry for our stunt in Spinningfields, Manchester, last year, on behalf of Virgin Holidays. The Tunnel To Barbados transformed an area of this busy business district into a little corner of the Caribbean in order to raise awareness for the company’s direct holidays from Manchester to Barbados. In addition to the awards this concept has already picked up, we can now add Best Event at the PRMoments to the list.
Of course such triumphs do not come without toil, and despite the fact celebrations went on into the night we’re in the office today (pretty much) bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, eager to continue coming up with incredible ideas to assist the incredible clients we have the honour of working alongside. Onwards and upwards as they say, what with spring preparing to spring here in the North West, too, we couldn’t be in better spirits.
