Like any public relations agency we always like to see worthwhile causes backed by interesting, not to mention amusing campaigns. As such when we were delighted to find Latedeals.co.uk had launched a new Movember tie-in guaranteed to tickle the funny bone, or face, with the potential to have you paddling in the Caribbean sea’s azure waters before too long.
For those unfamiliar, Movember is an annual, month-long nationwide event aimed at raising awareness of testicular and prostate cancer. Everything linked to the initiative is moustache related, and with that in mind it shouldn’t take too long to work out the kind of fund raising activities people partake in- from hairy marathons to simply growing the most bizarre under-nose rug imaginable.
For this year’s edition Latedeals have decided to put their customers, and the general public to a test. The challenge being to find the finest facial follicles on the planet, take a picture, and submit them to the travel giant’s Facebook competition page before 5pm on November 28th, at which point an expert team of judges have two days to decide on the finest entry. Winners will receive £500 to spend with the website, and this will be matched with a company donation of £500 to Prostate Cancer UK. All of which sounds pretty reasonable to us, and should have people rummaging through brow-raising holiday snaps before they know it.
