To mark the release of Creed, the latest addition to the Rocky movie franchise, Warner Brothers decided to reward commuters who opted to use the stairs rather than escalators at London’s Chancery Lane tube stop with a motivational rendition of the timeless theme tune. The film is out today, BTW.

Weekly Low

The world has suffered not one but two huge losses this week, which is more than anyone should have to put up with. First, David Bowie sadly passes away on Sunday, and then yesterday news hit that much-loved actor, Alan Rickman, perhaps best known as the baddie from Die Hard and the selfish Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, had also died. Both will be sorely missed by all.


Stories To Keep An Eye On

BT’s takeover of UK mobile phone giant EE has been approved, raising concerns about both customer satisfaction and competition within the market, particularly given 3 is looking to swoop in and purchase O2.

More than 50% of all smart watches sold during 2015 were made by Apple.

Google is working on another virtual reality device, with the creator of Google Cardboard heading up the operation.
