Cancer Research’s Race For Life saw partner Kleenex employ cutting edge ‘bib technology’ to deliver messages of support to runners from their nearest and dearest. As those entered in the 13.1mile endurance test passed by special screens their numbered-bibs triggered videos unique to them, helping lift spirits for the final push.

Washington D.C. chain Z Burger has been apologising profusely this week— as has the comms agency it uses run by 23-year-old Michael Valor— after a tweet was sent out stating: “When you say you want a burger and someone says okay lets hit McDonalds.” The message was attached to a photo of US reporter James Foley, seconds before he was beheaded by ISIS in Syria. Beneath this were the words “You disgrace me.” Seriously, guys, this really can’t happen.

Facebook stocks have plummeted by 20% as the company sees a revenue growth slow, although it still made $13.2billion in the second quarter of 2018.

Twitter, on the other hand, has seen its shares soar, with increasing 5% in value on Wednesday alone.
